The Night Fusion NF-1001 is a feature-packed thermal optic built for hunters and shooters who demand clear thermal imaging, integrated ranging, onboard recording, and customizable controls in one compact platform.
At the heart of the NF-1001 is a 640×512, 12μm VOx uncooled thermal detector, delivering detailed thermal imagery for identifying and tracking heat signatures in complete darkness and challenging environmental conditions. With a thermal sensitivity rating of NETD ≤40mK and a refresh rate up to 50Hz, the NF-1001 provides a smooth, responsive image when scanning or following moving targets.
An integrated laser rangefinder provides distance measurement directly through the optic. The system is rated for 10–1,200 yards on buildings, with ranging performance varying according to target size, reflectivity, atmospheric conditions, and measurement angle.
The NF-1001 offers 1×, 2×, 4× and 8× electronic magnification, multiple thermal color palettes, adjustable image brightness and contrast, selectable scene modes, hotspot tracking, picture-in-picture, and an integrated IMU for pitch and roll indication.
For shooting applications, the optic provides six reticle groups (A–F) with multiple reticle styles, selectable reticle colors, X/Y adjustment, distance settings, freeze-frame adjustment and magnification settings. Multiple configurations can be stored for different setups.
Built-in photo and video recording allows you to capture hunts directly through the optic. Files can be reviewed on the device or accessed through the USB-C interface, which also supports charging.
Powered by two removable 18350 lithium batteries, the NF-1001 combines high-resolution thermal performance, ranging, recording and shooting-oriented features into one versatile optic.

I would not advertise 1,800 yards as the LRF’s normal range even though the manual mentions measurements up to 1,800 yards on highly reflective targets. The cleaner and more defensible headline specification is 10–1,200 yards, with extended performance dependent on target reflectivity.
