Veteran and disabled Veterans from all services were well represented at the recent Reel American Heroes Foundation Tournament hosted at the Hope Springs Marina in Stafford, VA on August 2nd, 2014. This event has been held each year, for the past four years, to honor Nation’s disabled Veteran’s.
ArmyBassAnglers Organization is comprised of all branches of Service Men & Women, dedicated to one Mission: SUPPORT.DEFEND.FISH.
Hope Marina is situated on a main creek leading off of the Potomac River. The weather on the day prior to the event, mix of rain and clouds, proved to set up a very tough bite for the anglers. Water temperatures were steady at about 78 degrees, usually perfect for the big bass to be aggressive, that was not the case. On the day, a large majority of volunteer boater’s veteran anglers found it very difficult to locate and catch fish cialis overnight.
Although the goal for the day was to win the tournament, this was the first time on the water for many of the veteran anglers, and the camaraderie, conversations, and fellowship of this event was truly the highlight.
In attendance from the ArmyBassAnglers organization to SUPPORT this event were Northeast coalition members David Kennedy, Sean J. Combs, Joe Phillips, and Joshua Evans (2013 RAHF Tournament Winner).
